Warren Buffett’s 11th annual charity auction broke all previous records when a bidder agreed to part with a whopping $2.63 million for a lunch date with the billionaire investor.
The identity of the winner has not been disclosed but we do know that the winning bidder and up to seven friends get to dine with Buffett (the third-richest person in the world) at the midtown Manhattan location of Smith & Wollensky steakhouse.
Proceeds from the charity auction will go to the Glide Foundation, a non-profit San Francisco based organization offering healthcare, childcare, housing and job training for the homeless. Continue Reading
