Iconic luxury goods maker Louis Vuitton has opened its 137^th boutique in North America at the newly revamped Santa Monica Place shopping mall, which marks the brand’s first opening on the west side of Los Angeles.

The spacious boutique showcases a prominent curved glass exterior and is situated in a prime location on the central plaza on the ground floor of the mall. The year is shaping up quite well for LVMH and its subsidiary brands. The leading luxury products company has reason to celebrate; showing strong sales across all business units with revenue of €9.1 billion in the first half of 2010, a significant jump of +16% from the first half of last year.
