Luxury watchmaker Chopard has released the new tourbillon luxury timepiece, titled the Chopard L.U.C Engine One Tourbillon, set to be unveiled at Basel World 2010. See additional images of the stunning watch after the jump!

Boasting fine materials such as alligator, titanium and sapphire, the exquisite watch sports a gravity- defying tourbillion, front-and-center, with amazing aircraft-grade handiwork throughout its face. The amazing tourbillon carries a 60 hour power reserve and its capacity is displayed in a charge indicator atop the watch’s face.

The well-crafted workmanship of the handsewn alligator band offers the attention to detail that makes this limited edition timepiece even more coveted by luxury watch enthusiasts. It may not be very easy to get your hands on the Chopard tourbillon, only 150 units of the exclusive watch will hit the common market for around $50,000.
