The phenomenal designer and Creative Director for Christian Dior, John Galliano, was chosen to transform the Claridge’s hotel in London into a magical holiday wonderland. The premier luxury property boasts the artistic masterpiece by Galliano; displaying a bare white tree with twisted branches and metallic blue decor alongside snow leopards, a dragonfly and several parrots.
The creative visionary, John Galliano commented, “I am thrilled that Dior is collaborating with Claridge’s this Christmas. I love to visit Claridge’s when I am in London, particularly at this time of the year – and I hope to bring a twist to the traditional tree. I want to combine the festive with the innovative, the spirit of Dior with the beauty of Claridge’s, and create something spectacular that will inspire the perfect start to the season!”

It is truly a tree worth celebrating; considering the fact that in its 112 year history, it marks the first time the Claridge’s hotel collaborated with a design house for its holiday decorations. The spectacular tree was unveiled at a star-studded event and will be on display in the Claridge’s lobby until January 6th 2010.
